The sun setting behind the Sidney Lanier Bridge, seen from the water

Sunset Dolphin Cruise

A cool, relaxed evening on the water for couples, families and friends, timed to finish with the sunset.

A true coastal evening

Our sunset cruise circles the calm inland and marshland waters of the Golden Isles. Over 90 minutes you can look forward to dolphins, local wildlife and birds, shrimp boats and ships, with the sun going down over the marsh.

Bring a picnic dinner, snacks and drinks to enjoy on board.

Departure time changes with the sunset, about 90 minutes before sunset. The exact time for each date is on the booking calendar. Boarding starts 10 minutes before departure.

Finding the boat

Boats leave from Morningstar Marina, 206 Marina Drive, St. Simons Island. When you pull into the marina, park in the lot immediately to your left and walk up to the front of the Coastal Kitchen restaurant. A crew member will be to the left of the entrance to check you in, up to 30 minutes before departure.

Parking is somewhat limited in the marina parking lot, so please try to travel in as few vehicles as possible. Overflow parking is available in front of the condominiums to the south and in the overflow parking area to the west.

Our boats

  • Miss Catherine: covered and shaded, up to 49 passengers
  • Puddle Shuttle: up to 22 passengers

Our boats and crew are US Coast Guard certified and insured.

Good to know

  • Reservations are required.
  • Bring your own food and drinks, including alcohol (21+). Please bring cans or plastic rather than glass.
  • Please don't bring pets on our boat tours. There just isn't enough room for them.
  • Please leave balloons at home for boat tours. They can end up in the water, where they hurt sea turtles and other wildlife.
  • Gratuities for your crew aren't included but are always appreciated.
