St. Simons Island Fishing Charters

Inshore, nearshore and shark fishing in the uncrowded marsh and sandbar waters of the Golden Isles.

Fishing for everyone

Inshore fishing is our most popular and affordable trip for families and groups. Georgia has about a third of the marshlands and rivers on the East Coast, so there are plenty of uncrowded fishing holes. March through Thanksgiving is the best time to fish here.

We run the only inshore fishing boat in the Golden Isles licensed to carry more than six passengers, so the whole family can come.

All trips depart from Morningstar Marina, 206 Marina Drive, St. Simons Island. Parking is somewhat limited in the marina parking lot, so please try to travel in as few vehicles as possible. Overflow parking is available in front of the condominiums to the south and in the overflow parking area to the west.

On every trip

  • Tackle, rods and fishing license provided
  • Bring your own food and drinks (cans or plastic rather than glass, please)
  • Bring a camera and sunscreen

Fishing charters are booked by phone or email. Tell us your date, group size and the trip you'd like.
