St. Simons Dolphin & Wildlife Boat Tour
Ninety minutes on the calm inland waters of the Golden Isles, alongside the bottlenose dolphins that live here year-round.
More than a dolphin watch
Georgia has about a third of the salt marsh on the East Coast. Within those marshes and their winding creeks and rivers lives a big population of bottlenose dolphins, traveling, breathing and feeding in family groups called pods.
Besides the dolphins, you may see shorebirds and their habitats, shrimp boats, and close-up views of large ships as we navigate around the islands, rivers and creeks. It's a great trip for all ages.
Dolphins are wild animals, so sightings can't be guaranteed. By federal law we observe them from a safe distance and never feed or touch them.
Finding the boat
Boats leave from Morningstar Marina, 206 Marina Drive, St. Simons Island. When you pull into the marina, park in the lot immediately to your left and walk up to the front of the Coastal Kitchen restaurant. A crew member will be to the left of the entrance to check you in, up to 30 minutes before departure.
Parking is somewhat limited in the marina parking lot, so please try to travel in as few vehicles as possible. Overflow parking is available in front of the condominiums to the south and in the overflow parking area to the west.
Our boats

- Puddle Shuttle: up to 22 passengers
