Lighthouse Trolleys

Jekyll Beach wedding transportation services are our most requested services.  We have had the privilege of moving many memories from the hotel to the beaches and back to the reception for the evening.  Jekyll has many hotels and most wedding events involve picking up guests at various sites, moving them to the wedding location, going and getting the bridal party and arriving at a choice beach location. After the ceremony, we usually move the guests to the reception, return to pick up the bridal party after photos, and return the honored bride and groom to the reception site.    After the reception winds down, we usually are moving guests back to their rooms or other locations to continue the evening fun!  

WEDDING RATES
Our base wedding rate on Jekyll Island is $295  for the first two hours of transportation services and $150 per hour thereafter for daytime services and $175 per hour for evening transportation.  A $50 per hour standby driver time may be applicable to some events. Larger passenger trolleys or fleet rates are available if more than one trolley is needed to handle your event.

GROUP TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Jekyll Island is a group destination site due to the available number of hotels and conference space.  Athletic events at the soccer fields is an example of another type of large group event.   The Jekyll Island Authority also hosts large events, concerts, festivals, races, and other events that draw thousands from all over the world and Lighthouse Trolleys is there to assist in fleet transportation.
The trolleys offer a symbolic, fun, and historical transportation service for the island guests to use to get from hotels to conference sites and other event locations.  Family reunions are another large customer of our services. 

Working with the Jekyll Island Authority, the Jekyll Island Club Hotel or other Jekyll hotel accomodations?  Have the sales agent your working with call us.  We provide services in package form through these group service providers.  Why not give your group a fun trolley ride to and from their events.

Most guests staying on Jekyll Island want a visit to St. Simons Island (the next island north)to shop, dine, or visit the night life and Lighthouse Trolleys is here to provide that service for you!    Our package trip is normally about 4 hours and you can depart at your time of choosing.   An example of trips might be as follows;

 

Departure from Jekyll would be at 10am for a tour of St. Simons, a stop for lunch in St. Simons Village, and a little after lunch shopping.  Return to Jekyll would be 2:30PM

Depart Noon from Jekyll and arrive for lunch on St. Simons, then the trolley will ferry you to several favorite shopping destinations and return you back to Jekyll by 4:30PM.

SHOP & DINE
Most conferences break for the day around 2pm or 3pm with free time for the evening.   Trolley would depart Jekyll at 4PM to give you shopping time.  Then the trolley would transport you to a choice restaurant on St. Simons.  After dinner, return you back to Jekyll arriving back at 8:30 PM

Departure suggestion would be around 7PM to St. Simons with dinner at a choice restaurant, desert at another choice location, then a visit to several favorite St. Simons night spots.    Return time back to Jekyll would be 11:30PM

Night life ON ST. SIMONS

The suggested departure time for this trip would be 9:30PM from Jekyll Island.  The trolley would transport you on a "St. Simons pub Crawl" around to several nights spots on St. Simons.  The return time to Jekyll would be 2:00 AM

RATES:  Our above tours are for 27 passengers max with a total fee of $450.  Additional trolleys are available to accommodate larger groups.   Extension of times to packages are allowed at a rate of $75 per hour.
